FAQ

Can you use BedBike for leg exercise?

No, BedBike is exclusively for arm ergometry—this unique design allows us to offer a portable and affordable product that is easy to use and set up.

How is BedBike unique from other arm ergometer devices?

Arm ergometers on the market today are bulky and expensive. Some models are meant to be bolted to the wall—others are floor models that have a seat and require a dolly to lift. The "moveable" ergometers weigh 40-70 pounds, and require the use of a table. We wanted to offer something better.

BedBike is portable. It allows the user to exercise in bed, providing a cardiovascular workout without the need for supervision or assistance from a physiotherapist.

What do you mean by "portable"?

Made of medical grade anodized aluminum tubing, BedBike only weighs 11 lb / 5kg. Its innovative folding design collapses in seconds to a storage height of 5 inches, fitting easily under the bed, in the closet or behind a door.

Transport it effortlessly between rooms. Set it up in less than 30 seconds. Voila!

Can BedBike measure patient progress?

Absolutely. The resistance knob adjusts the friction from 0 - 10, allowing a productive exercise bout for every level. There is also a removable timer with both stopwatch and countdown functions, so users and staff alike can set workout goals and measure their overall fitness by comparing past sessions.

Are there hand straps or grip assistants available?

In fact, we are developing an attachable strap that will keep the user's hands engaged on the handles. Stay tuned for updates!
